Welcome to the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia! This is where I live... In fact, our house is just a mile or two on the other side of the cliff in the vineyard pictured above. The Okanagan Valley is famous for it's fruit growing, including many vineyards and award winning wineries. |

The weather is dry (desert actually), yet lakes carved by glaciers provide abundant water for irrigation. Baby's Breath grows wild here, and cold mountain streams are within easy driving distance. When the weather gets hot, I like to head to the Ashnola River in the Similkameen Valley, or to one of the deep, cool lakes here in the Okanagan. |
