A long row of apple trees filter the snow in Oliver, British Columbia.

Popping out of the subway on Fifth Avenue near Rockefeller Center...

I find the city is bustling with pedestrians—some stopping for a bite on the street, some gazing at store windows, most hurrying importantly into the night.

The city never sleeps, and it seems to carry me along with it's momentum.

Everywhere I look, there are lights, and cars, and people.

An apple hangs from a tiny shoot on the trunk of this apple tree.
Round hay bales look like frosted, shredded wheat, with a light covering of fresh snow.

No detail is left undone; even the trees are decorated to the very tips of their branches.

Everything seems exaggerated here.

Huge, Christmas ornaments adorn this pool at the Chase Manhattan Bank building.

The sleek, glass, Apple store attracts shoppers from all sides, including me—unable to resist its magnetic pull.

A row of grape vines collects the falling snow.
Fruit trees in winter show off their well pruned branches.

People swarm the ice-rink at Rockefeller Center, as I patiently fight for a glimpse of the skaters below...

And the 75th Christmas tree.

It really is magical!

I wish you a very happy holiday season, and a bright new year!

Thank you for being a part of my of my life.

See you in 2008!
Todd
