The Statue of Liberty is still a marvel in New York Harbor.

The Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges frame the downtown skyline of New York City.

It was great fun to climb into Dennis Leaver's tiny helicopter and fly around with such an amazing pilot.

He was able to position me wherever I wanted to be with ease.

We had to watch out for helicopter traffic around the Statue of Liberty.

As we arrived, two sightseeing choppers were departing, and we had to climb quickly to avoid hitting a third one that came out of nowhere by the Statue.

Dennis Leaver's helicopter was just big enough for two.
New York's Downtown is spectacular from the air.

The view of Manhattan was breathtaking. From that height, I gained a new perspective for this tiny island packed with skyscrapers.

One of the most universally liked buildings in New York is the Chrysler Building, below. In my opinion, its design is without rival in the city.

Central Park, below, leaves quite a footprint (2.5 miles x 0.5 miles).

That's some prime real estate...

I bet we could develop it and pay off the national debt! :)

Just kidding, New Yorkers...!!!

The Chrysler Building has a beautiful profile.
New York City's central park is a beautiful center of the city.

There are lots more photos in the Screen Savers download.

The last shot shows the Queen Victoria and QE2 ships at dock.

Sunday was the only day in history that the three queens (Queen Victoria, QE2, and the Queen Mary 2) were in the same place at the same time—New York Harbor.

Thanks to my step-brother, Andy Ferguson, for organizing this trip.

Have a great week!
Todd
