A red and yellow tulip bud is closed with the cold morning dew.

I lie on the cool earth with my tripod looking up at the colorful blossoms around me.

Flowers have always fascinated me.

The first ones of the year are very welcome.

Time seems to melt away as the shapes and colors of another world reach out to me.

The air begins to warm, and tight tulip buds expand and open in the light.

Red and yellow tulips open as the day warms up.
Weeping willow branches unfurl their first leaves in Spring.

A willow tree with fresh young leaves catches my eye as I drive.

I hesitate for only a second, then knock on the door of an unknown home.

A smile, a nod—my mind and heart at ease—I set up the tripod again.

Willows speak more willingly when owners are ok with me.

Like that I wander meeting people, finding flowers, feeling great.

Daffodils cheer me even when the wind can test my patience.

Daffodils show their happy faces in the cool Spring weather.
Miniature daffodils quietly open themselves in a protected corner of the garden.
