When I was in Victoria, BC, last Autumn my friend, Blaine, pointed out this shop to me.

Tucked away in an alleyway,
She She Shoes sells any kind of footwear with a flair.
While I've never been known to pay much attention to the shoes I wear, I can't help noticing these displays.

Why wear black rubber boots when you can step out in the rain in style?
Why settle for an ordinary pump when you can jazz it up like this? |
But really, who comes up with all these trends? Haven't shoes been around forever?
Surely, we must have used up all the possibilities by now.
Apparently not. I've never seen shoes quite like these. |

Some boots (or are they shoes?) are more like real live caricatures that you can wear. A cartoonist couldn't draw them funnier.
But that's the human mind for you... no end of creativity. I love it. |
