The time has come to design next year's photography wall calendar.
Our first job is to choose the pictures for the calendar.
Yesterday, I created a blog post displaying around 100 images that could be used.
I'd love your input. Which ones do you think we should use?

Please leave a comment at the bottom of the blog post. Let me know what pictures are your favorites for the 2010 calendar.
Thanks to your votes over the last few months: the 12 x 12 inch (30.5 x 30.5 cm) size has been decided.
You will notice that all of the pictures shown here, and on the blog, have been cropped to a square.

There are two nice advantages of the 12 x 12, square format calendar.
The first is that the pictures are big yet, being square, they don't take up too much wall space (this is probably why 12 x 12 is the most popular calendar size out there).
Secondly, the square size gives plenty of room for all the days of the month. |
On the blog you will find 5 - 14 images displayed for every month. Your job is to choose the best one for each month and leave a comment to let me know.
Instead of doing several calendars this year, let's focus on just one.
It will include landscapes, flowers, fruit, and any inspiring photos you would like to have on your wall. |

What should we call it? An outdoor calendar? A nature calendar? A fresh air calendar? Let me know if you have any ideas.
Finally, I'm excited to print the calendars on recycled paper this year.
I plan to print them in the next month or two in time to sell them in stores as well as on my website.

So head on over to the blog and let me know what pictures you would choose for next year's calendar.
Let's make it a great one!
Thank you,
Todd
Next week we'll work on the design. |
