cattle along the shore in the early evening

I like cows.

Maybe it's because I like the places they hang out: open grasslands.

It's always quiet where cows roam.

That is, until they see me coming, and their leader starts to moo and shoo the herd away.

Some cows can be quite beautiful.
I especially love the Jerseys. Their gentle eyes can get me almost
every time.

lucky cows hang out high above the pacific ocean.

This one planted her hoofs and seemed to look straight through me. She did not cower off like all the rest.

In fact, she won the stand-off when I turned away, my tail between my legs.

Some cows have it really good, with knee-high grass and
ocean views.

Others are happier with wetter pastures. I love to see their dirty knees.

But my favorite cows of all I found one day in heavy fog.

Can there be anything more peaceful?

Oh, and I should mention that I love cow's milk, and cream, and butter, and their yogurt and their cheese.

I think this may be the real reason for my deep affinity.
