In this week’s newsletter I announced an exciting photo tour to India scheduled for Feb 14 – Mar 2, 2009.
The Bold Colors of India
I’ve been to India twice and love it, both for the natural sense of spirituality that pervades the people and traditions there, and for the awesome colors and sights which make it a photographer’s paradise.
When I was introduced to Anita Joglekar of Fantastic Journeys a couple of months ago, we began planning this trip which will be a sightseeing tour and a photography workshop rolled up in one.
Anita has taken thousands of people around the world since she started her business in 1994 and she has recently been recognized for her green and eco tourism packages by the prestigious group, GAIA.
Learn Photography
During this trip I plan to spend most of my time giving individual attention to everyone on the course as we travel from one photo opportunity to another. We will review our pictures almost every day and will continually learn from our experience.
Highlights of the trip will include the Taj Mahal, ancient temples, the tigers of central India and a remote village showing its traditional ways of life.
There are only 20 spots on the tour. We have had eight people inquire since the newsletter went out yesterday morning, so let me know right away if you are interested.
I can send you a PDF with the complete itinerary and pricing. Please contact me to get more info.
Online Discussion Group Leading Up To The Trip
I also plan to have an online discussion group about photography for the participants leading up to the trip so we’re all prepared for it when we get there.
The following photos are compliments of Fantastic Journeys, except for the hibiscus flower and the temple above, which I took.
