Spring Flowers in Autumn

by Todd Smith on September 11, 2009

Yesterday’s newsletter seems to have hit a chord with lots of people. It’s all about new beginnings (spring flowers) in the autumn (new school year). Here are some flowers from last May for my show and tell.

What do you have for show and tell this year?

I love this time of year for flowers! That top flower is gorgeous. Love wattle too…. the wattle tree in my back yard has been ‘out’ for the last couple of weeks – beautiful! My mum loves Lily of the Valley. 🙂

Thanks, Linda. Don’t you love all the shapes and textures? It’s an amazing world we live in! 🙂

You have a wonderful eye for capturing the beauty of creation. Not many realize the beauty that is surrounding us everyday. When you take a pause and meditate on the remarkable earth and everything in it, we realize a wonderful Creator has created it for us, and I refuse to not stop and smell the roses or capture a beautiful sunrise…I could just go on and on and on, but seeing your pictures helps me to reflect again on life itself. Keep inspiring with your photography and thanks for sharing:)

Thanks, Yvonne. Great to meet you. Isn’t it amazing how much beauty is around us all the time? I love that tree photo in the fog on your site. btw, my dad lives in Lutherville, MD.

Hope this gets to you! I”m trying to order some of your lovely greeting cards and for the life of me, can’t figure out how to collect the photos I like and want made into cards. Can you send me some directions?

Meanwhile hope you’re doing well. Did you receive notice that Mary Murphy just lost her mother and Jeff just lost his dad. I sent them one of your beautful cards. It was very appropriate and a beautiful sentiment.
